Who qualifies

The campaign is intended for eligible FlyRank interns in the published cohort scope, subject to the final country and legal restrictions.

An entrant must complete at least five evidence-backed, non-capstone assignments and submit one evidence-backed capstone in the same eligible FlyRank track. Capstone acceptance is not required for this challenge. Assignments from one track cannot be combined with another track's capstone.

Eligible pre-launch work can count when it belongs to an eligible campaign cohort. Work recorded after the qualification cutoff does not count. Generating a certificate is not required.

Official Entry requires the participant to comment or reply with “SARAJEVO,” tag the person they would bring, and include #FlyRankAI on an official announcement post listed in the Challenge Hub. They must affirm completion and submit the direct URL to their own comment or reply, not the announcement post URL. Confirmation awards 100 challenge points immediately.

Follow Us is optional, never gates eligibility, and awards 1,000 challenge points when the six-account checklist is confirmed. The Lead Mentor checklist is also optional and awards 250 challenge points after every listed LinkedIn profile is confirmed, including both AI Fluency leads, Tarik Selimović for Business Track (soon), and Arijana Ibrović.

Following 10x.ai and Power Commerce is optional and awards 100 challenge points. These Portfolio Companies sponsor the internship and share job opportunities from time to time. The Challenge Hub lists all six accounts.

FlyRank verifies confirmations recorded at closing only if the participant is selected. Another platform is allowed only if FlyRank has approved that specific alternative for the participant in writing. The current rule version must be accepted before the cutoff. If government restrictions prevent you from using a required platform, another platform is allowed only if FlyRank has approved that specific alternative for you in writing.

Entries and drawing

Your current FlyRank leaderboard score is inherited by the challenge. Every verified leaderboard point creates one draw entry. Later point changes are added as deltas so the same activity cannot be awarded twice.

Confirming Official Entry awards 100 challenge points, equal to 100 entries. As optional bonuses, confirming the Alen and FlyRank follows awards 1,000 challenge points; confirming the Lead Mentor checklist awards 250; and confirming the six published 10x.ai and Power Commerce accounts awards 100. These points are credited immediately from the participant's self-attestation. The participant must keep the relevant profile links in FlyRank current so the proof recorded at closing can be checked if selected. These rewards do not alter the global leaderboard score. Manual corrections and reversals appear as new auditable records.

Entries remain visible while qualification is incomplete. They are excluded from the draw until every requirement is complete. High points never bypass the work minimum.

Before the draw, FlyRank re-evaluates every participant and blocks the freeze when a qualification record is stale or inconsistent, or a blocking integrity flag remains unresolved. The frozen snapshot preserves participant qualification, entry totals, and the exact task proof submitted before closing.

The draw uses a reproducible weighted random method to select at least 2 provisional winners and 10 ordered alternates. Higher drawable entry totals create more chances, but do not guarantee selection.

If the frozen pool, published seed commitment or reveal, or draw execution is shown to be invalid, FlyRank will not silently edit the result. FlyRank will publish the issue and correction decision. When the official rules require a replacement draw, a valid frozen pool and a new publicly committed seed will be used; if the original pool remains valid, its anonymous weights remain unchanged.

Ordered alternates are used for declines, disqualifications, and failed provisional-winner verification. They do not replace the correction or replacement-draw process for an invalid draw.

Integrity and privacy

Challenge enrollment, point conversion, qualification, entry totals, and evidence are handled privately. Public visibility is never required to earn entries or qualify.

Joining the Challenge opts the participant into private Challenge scoring. Public score sharing remains a separate, optional preference and does not affect Challenge qualification or entries.

The public draw-verification record is anonymized. It does not include names, emails, private activity, evidence, or any mapping from an anonymous draw ID to a participant. Exact anonymous entry weights are published so the draw can be independently checked.

Fraud, duplicate identity or evidence, false proof, material rule violations, or failure of provisional verification can result in disqualification. Point corrections reduce weight but do not erase otherwise completed work requirements by themselves. A participant with no drawable entries cannot enter the draw.

Admin decisions require a reason and remain in the audit trail. The counsel-approved official rules define the support, review, and appeal process. Campaign support: FlyRank Internship support.

Frequently asked questions

Can points qualify me on their own?

No. Complete five assignments and submit a capstone in the same eligible track. You must also complete Official Entry and accept the current rules. The three social checklists are optional. Points only determine how many entries you receive.

Can I combine work from different tracks?

No. Your five counted assignments and submitted capstone must all come from one eligible FlyRank track. You may qualify through any one eligible track.

How do points become entries?

One challenge point equals one entry. Your current FlyRank leaderboard score is inherited automatically. Confirming Official Entry adds 100 points, Follow Us adds 1,000, the Lead Mentor checklist adds 250, and the Portfolio Companies checklist adds 100. More points improve your odds but never guarantee selection.

What counts as my official entry?

Open any official announcement post listed in the Challenge Hub, comment or reply with “SARAJEVO,” tag the person you would bring, and include #FlyRankAI. Then confirm the step and paste the direct URL to your own comment or reply, not the announcement post itself. Your 100 points are added immediately.

Does work from before the challenge count?

Yes, if it belongs to an eligible cohort and meets the evidence requirements. Work recorded after the qualification deadline does not count.

When does FlyRank verify my confirmations?

Your points are added as soon as you submit the required proof and confirm a task. FlyRank checks the proof on file only if you are selected. Every selection remains provisional until that check is complete. If the proof is missing, inaccessible, or does not support the confirmation, the selection can be disqualified and the next ordered alternate may be chosen.

Are my score and entries private?

Yes. Your challenge score, entries, evidence, and eligibility stay private in your Challenge Hub. FlyRank publishes only the anonymized draw-verification record described in the official rules.

What if I cannot use one of the social platforms?

If government restrictions prevent you from using a required platform, another platform is allowed only if FlyRank has approved that specific alternative for you in writing.

What if my visa takes longer than expected?

We understand. Visa timelines vary by country, and a delay by itself will not automatically disqualify you. If you’re selected, we’ll work with you on timing and try to reschedule the Sarajevo visit where feasible. If travel still isn’t possible, we’ll follow the alternative process described in the official rules.

What if getting a visa from my country is difficult?

You’re still welcome to enter. If you’re selected, we’ll work with you on realistic trip timing and the available visa process. Visa decisions are made solely by the relevant authorities, so approval cannot be guaranteed. A difficult application process by itself will not count against you.

I live in Sarajevo. Can I still enter?

alternate trip

How could I lose eligibility?

Fraud, duplicate or false proof, material rule violations, or failed winner verification can lead to disqualification. A point correction changes your entry total but does not erase otherwise valid completion work. FlyRank records every decision, and the official rules explain how to request support or a review.
