It is an unpaid educational internship, not a full-time staff placement. Expect portal-based work, track assignments, practical resources, async support, mentor review where available, and a capstone. You manage your own schedule and progress; there are no daily standups or guaranteed paid client projects.

Core work is self-paced through the portal. Everyone gets the same core resources and instructions, and you define your own working rhythm while your cohort is active. Live sessions, Q&A events, office hours, or demos may also be scheduled and will appear in the portal or cohort calendar when published.

Live sessions are recorded when possible and shared through the program surfaces the team publishes for your cohort. The program runs in English, but non-native English speakers are welcome. Use recordings, pause/replay, translated notes, and support routes when a language barrier affects an assignment or event requirement.

During cohort launch, portal areas may open gradually by cohort, track, and feature. If your calendar or Events area is empty, check Announcements first, watch any orientation replay posted there, and subscribe to the program calendar when the option is available. The portal at internship.flyrank.ai is the source of truth, and signing in with LinkedIn is the normal access path.

Do not panic. Check the Schedule, Announcements, and Resources areas in the portal for follow-up resources, links, or related resources. If a session affected something you need to submit and you cannot find the follow-up, contact support with the event title.

The program is remote, global, and mostly asynchronous. If live events or office hours are scheduled, they appear in the portal with timezone-aware dates when available. You do not need to match a U.S. timezone.

Self-paced during your cohort. Most people finish a track in 6 to 10 weeks of part-time work, around 5 to 10 hours per week. Some weeks are heavier than others. Cohort close can lock assignment support and schedule changes; late corrections are handled case by case.

Your cohort start date is shown in your application receipt and intern portal. The July 2026 cohort is closed for new applications; join the waitlist to be notified when the next available cohort opens. Assignments and cohort work open at the cohort start; accepted interns should use the pre-start period for profile, LinkedIn, announcements, and kickoff prep.

Assignments open when your cohort work begins. Your dashboard prioritizes the primary track you chose, with General AI Fluency also available. Complete at least five assignments and an accepted capstone in a track to earn that track's certificate. AI Fluency and specialization work qualify independently; extra assignments remain useful optional learning.

Use the format requested in the assignment. Common evidence includes GitHub repositories, hosted pages, public or shareable Google Docs, Loom-style videos, design files, screenshots, or track-specific artifacts. Reviewers need a link they can open, enough context to understand your work, and proof that the submission is yours.

When sessions or resources are open to the cohort, you may attend or study outside your official track. That extra learning is encouraged, but it does not change your enrollment, capstone requirements, or credential. Your certificate and credential are issued only for the official track you complete.
